A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of New York University and the doctoral program in Clinical
and Health Psychology at the University of Florida, Dr. Stephanie Haymaker has been practicing for over 20 years. She
has been in practice in Oldwick, NJ since 1996.
Dr. Haymaker has worked in a variety of settings,
including school-based therapeutic programs for adolescents, and several eating disorders programs. She was the Eating
Disorders and Adolescent specialist at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Piscataway for over 8 years.
Dr. Haymaker sees a wide range of adults, children and adolescents around a variety
of issues. Additional speciality areas include the treatment of depression, anxiety, OCD, AD/HD, the chronically
ill and issues specific to women.
Dr. Haymaker is co-author
of Principled Commitment, a manual for enhancing marital satisfaction, published by the Unitarian-Universalist Assocation
of America. She works with distressed couples, as well as those looking to improve an already stable union. She
is also a consultant for the Department of Labor, with expertise in the area of disability assessment.
